2021 Sales Wrap – Real Estate Market In Hervey Bay

What a successful year 2021 was for Carter Cooper Realty.

One word Principal Kim Carter used to describe 2021 was “Growth” and not just growth in our industry but also within the Hervey Bay community.

To say the last two years have been an ongoing challenge would be an understatement in any industry however the Real Estate market has been far from steady and has no signs of slowing down. The year of 2021 saw our agency sell over $168,000,000 worth of property, we had 318 properties go under contract and had a whooping 636 sales transactions.

Our highest sale price achieved was $1,500,000 and having not one but two properties sell for this fantastic price – it’s just outstanding.

Here is the latest data from CoreLogic capturing house price growth from January 1, 2021 to November 30, 2021. The great thing is the surge in real estate wealth for homeowners is everywhere – not just the cities.
